Thin but durable "Ripstop"
The fabric is a tear-resistant ripstop nylon made of cotton blended with polyurethane. The plain weave fabric is made of thick or multiple twisted yarns interwoven in a grid pattern, which prevents further progression of the fabric even if it should tear.

The front is zipped with a "universal zip" reminiscent of the good old days in America.
