Very rare two piece silk resort dress from Saks Fifth Ave. Connoisseur Suite. Hand painted and hand sewn in France. Raspberry red with blue trim. Set consists of a wrap style maxi skirt with elastic waistband and a square cut kaftan style blouse.

**Please Note** the blouse drapes over the head and the front side corners wrap around at the hip, fastening with just a single set of snaps/hooks at your lower back. The back side has no fastening and is left to drape open. It does seem like a strange design but I see no evidence of any other clasps or snaps that were removed so I have to assume this is the original design.  You can see this in the 3rd photo.

Set is in excellent condition apart from a few small faint spots, see these in last photo.

No size tag. Shown on a US size 10 dress form, not pinned or clipped.
